We have a strict no return or exchange policy on any body piercing accessories, including earrings, unless the item is faulty. If the item is faulty, you may refer to our Store Policies for more information. This policy gives a peace of mind to you as our customer and is in the interest of hygiene for all Fashion Shelter customers.

All Fashion Shelter accessories are guaranteed for a period of 3 months, from the date of purchase/collection, against faults in workmanship. Your Fashion Shelter item will be repaired or replaced free of charge, provided that the fault falls within the terms of this guarantee and if you are willing to cover all the shipping /  handling charges.

In the instance an item is faulty, the item must be returned for inspection. More information can be found under Store Policies.

 

- In order for us to allow an inspection of the goods, the goods must be returned for assessment along with proof of purchase. 

- The Guarantee does not include the following to the extent they are permitted in the relevant legislation;

i. Damage due to ordinary wear and tear,

ii. Damage due to misuse, accident, alteration, substitution or abuse,

iii. Repairs and alterations performed by someone other thanFashion Shelter,

iv. Theft, disappearance or loss, and

v. Any type of use causing damage or deterioration.

Fashion Shelter reserves the right to judge whether the accessories has been subject to any of the above mentioned exclusions and all decisions made by Fashion Shelter are final.
 

Avoid contact with,

 

- Water, especially chlorinated pools

- Perfume, lotion and other chemicals

- Perspiration

 

What you should do:

 

- Clean with polishing cloth

- Store in a cool, dry place

 

Therefore, packaging provided is an air-tight ziplock bag for your storage of accessories.

Oxidation may occur with the contact of the listed "Not-To-Dos"

 

Apply a coating on you accessories with clear nail polish, or metal wax to the entire surface. However, they will wear off over time, so reapplying them will provide good maintainence.

 

Chlorinated pools, water and sea salt will cause corrosion process to start.

 

Hence, a proper care for your accessories will increase its life span.
